Financial disclaimer
Last updated: November 1, 2026
Borrowing money is personal. A clean estimate on a website can feel reassuring, which is exactly why this page exists. Please read it before you lean on the loan calculator or the guide on Easly Finance.
The short version
Easly Finance provides an educational loan calculator and related articles for general information only. Results are estimates based on the figures you enter and simplified fixed-rate amortization assumptions. They are not a loan offer, approval, quote, forecast, guarantee, or recommendation. Nothing on this website is financial, lending, investment, tax, legal, or other professional advice. Lending terms, fees, taxes, insurance, and underwriting rules vary by lender and can change. Consider speaking with a qualified professional before borrowing or refinancing.
What the calculator is trying to do
The tool on our homepage takes three inputs—loan amount, annual rate, and term—and estimates a fixed monthly payment along with total interest and total repayment. Under the hood it assumes a fully amortizing, fixed-rate installment loan paid on schedule. That model is useful for personal loans, many auto loans, and similar products. It is a sketch, not a contract.
Change one number and the results move. That is the point: you can compare a shorter term against a longer one, or see how a lower principal changes the monthly hit, without sitting in a finance office. Curiosity is welcome. Treating the output like a lender promise is not.
What the estimate quietly leaves out
Real credit agreements are messier than a three-field form. Origination fees, documentation fees, prepaid interest, gap coverage, extended warranties, taxes, and registration can all get rolled into the amount you finance. Some lenders count days differently. Some charge interest for a stub period before the first regular payment.
If those extras are part of your deal and you do not raise the principal in the calculator, your on-screen payment will look cheaper than the payment on the disclosure. That gap is not a “bug” in the Site—it is a reminder to compare against paperwork, not against a hopeful screenshot.
We are not a lender or an advisor
Easly Finance does not originate loans, broker loans, pull credit, or underwrite applications. We do not rank banks. We do not pocket a commission when you borrow. We also do not act as your financial planner, tax preparer, or lawyer. No rate on this Site is “ours” to guarantee, and no payment figure is an approval.
When you use the calculator, your inputs stay in the browser for the estimate. We are not quietly forwarding those numbers to a lending desk in the background. If you later apply with a real lender, that process is separate and governed by that lender’s documents.
Examples are teaching tools, not predictions
The guide uses round numbers so the arithmetic is easy to follow. A sample rate in an article is not a claim about “typical” borrowers this month. Two people financing the same amount can walk away with different APRs, fees, and terms because credit, income, collateral, and timing differ.
Read examples the way you would read a classroom worksheet: helpful for understanding the shape of the math, useless as a promise about your personal offer.
Your job before you sign
You are responsible for checking the figures that matter to your budget. Read the contract. Ask which products were optional. Confirm whether extras were financed. If the calculator and the lender’s schedule disagree, ask the lender to walk through the difference line by line—then plan from their schedule.
If a decision could change your finances in a lasting way, talk with a qualified professional who can see your full picture. A website cannot do that work for you, and we will not pretend otherwise.
Advertising does not rewrite the math
The Site may show ads so we can keep hosting and maintaining the pages. Ads do not change the formulas. Advertising partners do not receive the loan numbers you type into the tool. For cookies and partner details, see the Privacy Policy.
When this page changes
We may update the calculator, the guide, or this disclaimer when products, laws, or our own understanding improve. The “Last updated” date tells you when this text last moved. Keep using the Site after a change and you accept the revised disclaimer.
